Gathering Liturgy: Enough
We had an amazing time at our SECOND worship and liturgy gathering! Kurt and Stacie worked so hard to ready their home for hosting, and did so from a place of selflessness and love, it was such a beautiful setting. We also extend our shared thanks once again to our buddy Eric Jarvis for leading worship. Thank you all! As we enter into the newness of this season in community, we are all invited to prayerfully discern the ways that God is nudging us to move toward those opportunities to grow in connection with God and one another.
Save the dates now for our next two Sunday liturgies, October 1st and October 22nd, both @ 10am back at the Meadows Place Community Center!

Departure: Why I Left the Church -by Alexander Lang
A Franciscan Benediction
May God bless you with discomfort,
at easy answers, half-truths,
and superficial relationships
so that you may live
deep within your heart.
May God bless you with anger
at injustice, oppression,
and exploitation of people,
so that you may work for
justice, freedom and peace.
May God bless you with tears,
to shed for those who suffer pain,
rejection, hunger, and war,
so that you may reach out your hand
to comfort them and to turn their pain to joy.
And may God bless you with enough foolishness
to believe that you can make a difference in the world,
so that you can do what others claim cannot be done,
to bring justice and kindness to all our children and the poor.
